Unisuites is a condominium-styled, student hostel with 16 floors located right in between MBoutique Hotel and Econsave (which is in the middle of the Kampar New Town district and surrounded by nearby restaurants, food courts and eateries) This makes it an ideal hostel for first time students in Kampar or for students without a car as everything they could ever need is well within walking distance. The hostel also provides free access to all its facilities for residents and free Wi-Fi.

What Do the Residents Say?
As the resident, staying in Unisuite definitely has its ups and downs. Bad Wi-Fi, sometimes broken elevators and other issues. Otherwise, good location and amenities. Shuttle bus service and the driver is great and the schedule itself is reasonable enough. Getting into the bus may be difficult due to lots of students taking it. As a cyclist, cycling to UTAR is easy since there is a shortcut through TARUMT.

Honestly, living in Unisuites ain’t that bad, as long as you don’t mind the chilly looking exterior. The facilities are decent and food’s just a 5 min walk away. However, laundry is a bit of an issue as its in a form of coin laundry in the apartment, as well as seasonal parking (if you’re driving a car) being expensive for no apparent reason. A good thing about the units are for some reason, the whole building is almost always freakishly cool, so you get to save on eletricity bills. Besides that, I believe that unisuites is the tallest building in the vicinity, so if you fancy good views, then it’s a nice place to stay

Good place to stay for solo or couples. Humidity is quite high here and molding is an issue. Be careful for some corner unit as it can flood when raining.

Unisuites has good facilities that are beneficial to residents. However, biggest issue here is with the WiFi being unstable most of the time and elavators breaks down quite often.

The Wi-Fi is often unpredictable, but they have the best gym equipment that do not require a monthly subscription. The library area is the best place to study in term of its environment, but the aircon is faulty so it can get uncomfortable. The electricity bill is dirt cheap compared to other places, RM25-RM30 per month even with the aircon on every night. It is also close to a lot of restaurants which make eating out very convenient.
