The hostel is both gated and guarded (visitors have to register with the guards to enter) and covered under the UTAR shuttle service, making it an ideal place to stay for UTAR students.

Then the Harvard/Imperial Homes is probably what you’re looking for! Located right across the road from Westlake Homes. Though the area is not gated and guarded (like Westlake Homes), it more than makes up for it with its much more spacious living quarters while still being within walking distance from the UTAR Kampar Campus. On top of that, it is also one of the areas serviced by the UTAR shuttle service.

Want to be in the heart of Kampar New Town, surrounded by food, print shops, and everything else you will ever need?

Unisuites will be the ideal place for you! This hostel is located in the center of Kampar New Town, making it one of the most convenient hostel option for both TARUMT and UTAR students who want to be close to all the essential amenities. It is close to TARUMT, but quite some distance from UTAR and is not covered by the UTAR shuttle service. However, they do provide their own shuttle service to UTAR so UTARians can still get to campus with relative convenience.
